The Art of the Phin: Why It Creates a Better Cup

The secret to our signature Smooth Strength™ lies in the slow, even extraction of the phin. This traditional method creates a dense, aromatic, and chocolate-forward cup with fewer harsh notes than many other brewers. It's a simple, mindful process that delivers a remarkably smooth and powerful result, every time.

How to Brew (Quick Start)

1. Rinse the phin with hot water.
2. Add 18–22g of medium-fine coffee and level the grounds.
3. Place the press on top, then pour a 35g "bloom" and wait 30 seconds.
4. Slowly pour the remaining water to a total of 120–140g. Cover and let drip for 4–5 minutes.
5. Enjoy hot or pour over ice with sweetened condensed milk.

What's Included & Care

• Includes: The Phin chamber, perforated press, lid, and base.
• Care: The stainless steel is top-rack dishwasher safe, but we recommend handwashing to keep it pristine for a lifetime of brewing.
