Our Roast-Wave Freshness System
Coffee is a fresh product, and its flavor peaks just days after roasting. That’s why we don’t let our beans sit on a shelf. We roast in small, frequent batches we call “roast waves” and put the roast date on every single bag, so you always know you’re experiencing our coffee at its absolute best.
Our 3-Step Quality Check
Before any bean makes it into your bag, it goes through our rigorous quality control process:
- Green Bean Analysis: We test all incoming green coffee for the ideal moisture and density levels, which are essential for an even, consistent roast.
- Micro-Roast Profiling: We create multiple test roasts for each new lot to find the perfect “roast curve” that highlights sweetness and minimizes bitterness.
- Brew Dial-Ins: We cup and test each final roast profile across multiple brew methods to ensure it tastes as great for you at home as it does in our lab.
